Manchester United entertain West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Ruben Amorim’s side head into the contest on a high after progressing to the Europa League final. A 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao sealed comfortable passage to the decider, where Tottenham Hotspur await later this month.
That fixtures offers an opportunity to end the season positively, following a dismal league campaign. The Red Devils are 15th in the Premier League table, ahead of a clash with a West Ham side who have been equally disappointing.
The Hammers are 17th, with a mid-season managerial change having done little to lift their season.
Ruben Amorim remains without the services of Lisandro Martinez and Joshua Zirkzee, who have been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign. Diogo Dalot is also sidelined with a calf complaint, joining youngsters Ayden Heaven and Toby Collyer in the treatment room.
Mason Mount will hope to start after scoring in back-to-back games from the bench. The former Chelsea midfielder has endured a torrid time with injuries at Old Trafford but has shown glimpses of his best in recent weeks. Mount scored twice in Thursday’s win over Athletic Bilbao, including a superb strike from near the halfway line.
Manchester United predicted XI: Onana; Amad, Lindelof, Yoro, Shaw, Amass; Ugarte, Fernandes; Garnacho, Mount, Hojlund.
Manchester United host West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday 11th May 2025. Kick-off at Old Trafford is 14:15 BST.
The fixture has not been selected for live television coverage in the UK.
