The Magpies are in a dire situation as Nick Pope remains suspended after picking up a red card against Liverpool while his backup Martin Dubravka, who is an ex-Man United loanee, is cup-tied and so is Anthony Gordon. Emil Krafth will be the only guaranteed absentee as he remains in the treatment room due to an ACL injury. Eddie Howe remains hopeful that Joelinton and Joe Willock can shake off their thigh concerns to make themselves available for selection.
