Manchester United face rivals Liverpool in their final friendly match of the 2024 US Tour.

In front of a South Carolina audience at Williams-Brice Stadium, the least friendly match-up takes place as both teams try to prepare in the best way possible for the new season.

The Williams-Brice Stadium boasts a capacity of 80,000 and is typically used for college football. It is the home of the South Carolina Gamecocks and has been renovated several times since it was built in 1934.

United go into the game after beating Real Betis 3-2 in San Diego, while Arne Slot watched his Liverpool side edge out Arsenal.

However, injuries haven’t been kind to United with Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund already ruled out for the start of the 2024/25 campaign. To make matters worse, Rashford and Antony were forced off with knocks against Betis. We won’t know until an hour before kick-off if neither is fit enough to be risked against the Scousers.

In more positive news, Victor Lindelof played his first minutes of pre-season earlier this week, after missing our opening three warm-up matches.

United will have one eye on next week’s Community Shield against Man City. That will be the final friendly outing for Ten Hag’s side and he’ll aim to avoid more injuries ahead of the competitive season.

The match kicks-off at 19:45 on Saturday, local time, which is 00:45 on Sunday morning for fans living in the UK and Ireland.
