Manchester United Unsure What To Do With Alexis Sanchez If Inter Don’t Sign Him Permanently | OneFootball

Manchester United still have no idea what they intend to do with forward Alexis Sanchez, who is currently on loan with Inter, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the British newspaper the Mirror.

An unnamed source working at the Red Devils revealed the club’s confusion about the 30-year-old Chilean’s decline in Manchester to the British paper.

“The club is really perplexed about what happened to Sanchez and why his career literally fell off a cliff. Everyone believed that the exchange with Henrikh Mkhitaryan had been a great deal and that United had gained the biggest advantage. No one can understand what went wrong.”

The Premier League club are hoping that either Inter will be convinced enough by Sanchez to sign him permanently following the end of his loan deal next summer, or another club will look to sign him instead. Otherwise, they would be stuck with him, with his contract set to expire in 2022.
