Manchester United U21s were due to take on Leicester City in the Premier League 2 Division 1 tonight but the game has been postponed.
The U21s were scheduled to play Leicester at 7pm at Leigh Sports Village but officials had to postpone the encounter due to a waterlogged pitch.
MUTV were preparing to televise the match later on, but a pitch inspection took place hours before the kick-off in the North West.

A statement from the club read: “Manchester United would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the postponement today’s game.”
The Reds are currently seventh in the Premier League 2 Division 1.
United will release a new date and kick-off time in due course.
