Liverpool face Manchester United at Anfield next Sunday.
The Premier League clash is an important one for a couple of reasons. Firstly, Manchester United are Liverpool’s biggest rival.
Secondly, Liverpool are on top of the Premier League table, and Manchester United are second.
However, Manchester United could be without Paul Pogba, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw come next Sunday.
The aforementioned players missed Manchester United’s recent FA Cup clash against Watford because of respective injuries.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Manchester United still have to face Burnley at Turf Moor because heading to Anfield.
If Pogba, Lindelof and Shaw can get themselves fit for the clash against Burnley, then it would be fair to assume that they will be available for the Liverpool clash.
There is no denying that if those three players aren’t available for the clash against Liverpool, it would help Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The less options that Manchester United have, the better. When a few players are missing, squad depth is tested.
Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Anfield last season. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah were Liverpool’s goalscorers on the night.
