Manchester United to face West Ham United at Old Trafford | OneFootball

Manchester United have announced the news that their upcoming Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against West Ham United will be played at Old Trafford.

FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from Manchester United this morning.

The Red Devils have made just the one appearance at ‘The Theatre of Dreams’ so far this season with Marc Skinner’s side having defeated Aston Villa 5-0 at Old Trafford back in December. That fixture attracted a club-record attendance of 30,196.

Manchester United have now revealed that their upcoming fixture against West Ham United in March will also take place at Old Trafford. The club will be keen to build on the success of the recent fixture against Aston Villa.

Speaking following the announcement, Manchester United head coach Skinner said “Our entire group of players and staff are extremely excited to perform in front of our incredible fans at Old Trafford, for the second time this season.

“As the Women’s game continues to grow, we are delighted that this great football club remains at the heart of it and offer another wonderful opportunity for fans – both old and new – to experience a Manchester United Women’s game on the biggest stage.”

Manchester United’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against West Ham United is scheduled to take place on Saturday 25 March and will kick-off at 12.30pm. Ticketing details will be announced in due course.
