It was stated in a report from Manchester Evening News, that Manchester United, in their search for options, may need to explore possibilities beyond their immediate reach. As a result, they could find themselves enticed to pursue Adrien Rabiot again, a year after a potential agreement fell through due to the midfielder’s salary requirements.
Adrien Rabiot has been in exceptional form during his time in Turin, asserting his influence in the heart of Juventus’ midfield. The French midfielder has made a significant impact, impressively scoring eleven goals and providing four assists in 41 appearances across multiple competitions for the Italian club.
At 27 years old, Rabiot has consistently delivered standout performances at the Allianz Stadium, as indicated by his average of 1.9 tackles, 0.9 interceptions, 1.2 clearances, 1.4 shots, 0.9 key passes, and 0.9 dribbles per game in Serie A. Moreover, his distribution of the ball in the attacking direction has been proficient, with a pass completion rate of 83.2% in the top tier of Italian football (according to statistics from whoscored).

Rabiot’s contract with Italian giants expires at the end of this season, and they’re facing financial turmoil, which has forced them to sanction his exit this summer.
Adrien Rabiot is renowned for his physicality, technical prowess, and versatility on the field, making him a valuable addition to Manchester United‘s midfield. He can significantly contribute to attack and defence with his well-rounded skill set. Rabiot possesses excellent game-reading abilities and anticipates his opponents’ movements, allowing him to make crucial interceptions in his own half.
As a French international, Rabiot’s strong tackling skills and interceptions make him a reliable presence defensively in the centre of the pitch. While primarily a box-to-box midfielder, he can adapt to various roles, including defensive midfield or even as a left-sided wide player, depending on the requirements of his manager.
Rabiot’s notable goal-scoring and creative abilities from midfield are impressive, as he can make powerful runs with the ball towards the opposing team’s penalty area. His hard work, physicality, and high work rate make him a valuable asset for any team, including Man United. Rabiot’s addition would bring tenacity and strength to the midfield department, potentially forming a formidable partnership with Casemiro in the holding midfield positions. Consequently, it would be wise for the Red Devils to pursue him in the summer transfer window.
