Manchester United have received a huge injury boost ahead of their crucial Premier League fixture with Liverpool.

The club insiders think that United ace Anthony Martial could be fit for the upcoming Anfield clash on Sunday, according to The Daily Express.

The 25-year-old limped out of the Red Devils’ 1-0 victory at Burnley on Tuesday night, but there is positive update regarding the forward’s availability for the next match.

And even if the France international fails his fitness test, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will still have plenty of options at his disposal.

The Norwegian boss can feature Mason Greenwood, Daniel James or Juan Mata to replace the 25-year-old.

Manchester United are currently at the top of the Premier League table, having secured 36 points after 11 victories and three draws.

They have seen a great upturn in their fortunes since the 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Arsenal in November.

The Manchester side haven’t lost a match in the top-flight since that loss at Old Trafford and went on an incredible 11 league matches unbeaten run.

There are still doubts regarding the title credentials of the Red Devils, but if they emerge victorious from the Anfield clash it will become impossible for anyone to ignore their chances.
