Manchester United have expressed interest in signing Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari and are ready to rival AC Milan for the midfielder’s signature.
Milan have had an opening bid turned down for Jashari and are prepared to return with an improved bid worth €32m including add-ons. The player is giving preference to a move to the San Siro, though Manchester United are understood to have registered their interest.
Sky Germany have claimed that the Red Devils have contacted Jashari’s camp to discuss a potential move.
The 22-year-old was named Belgian Pro League Player of the Year for 2025 after an impressive debut campaign in Brugge. Manchester City considered an approach for Jashari earlier in the transfer window and their cross-town rivals are now weighing up a bid.
Jashari shone in the Belgian Pro League last season, where he ranked in the top 10% of midfielders for completed passes, progressive passes, expected assists, and carries per 90 minutes.
Ruben Amorim wants to add more options to his midfield this summer, with the Red Devils in search of an athletic central midfielder and progressive passer.
However, Milan are leading the race for Jashari as the Italian side look to overhaul their midfield. The Rossoneri sold Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City earlier in the window.
Luka Modric is set to arrive at the San Siro on a free transfer from Real Madrid, while there’s also interest in Torino’s Samuele Ricci and Bayer Leverkusen veteran Granit Xhaka.
