The young Dane faces a big-money rival to his starting spot
Rasmus Hojlund has immediately reacted to Manchester United agreeing a £74million deal to sign Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko has been given permission by current club RB Leipzig to undergo a medical with United ahead of signing what is expected to be a five-year contract.
United have been searching for a new striker all summer amid Hojlund's ongoing struggles and Sesko, who scored 21 goals in all competitions last term, has long been of interest at Old Trafford, dating back to his move from Domzale to RB Salzburg in 2019.
Sesko will now become United's fourth signing of the summer, and third in attack, as they look to recover from their worst top-flight campaign in 51 years and a loss to Tottenham in the Europa League final.

Matheus Cunha joined from Wolves for £62.5m before Bryan Mbeumo left Brentford for a deal which could be worth up to £71m.
The arrival of all three pushes Hojlund further down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Hojlund scored just four goals in 32 league appearances last season, and regularly went months without a goal across any competition.
Sesko is expected to come straight into United's starting line-up, but Hojlund is seemingly welcoming the new competition.
Eagle-eyed fans have spotted that Hojlund's Instagram account 'liked' journalist Fabrizio Romano's post about Sesko's imminent arrival within minutes of the news breaking.
Asked earlier this week about the added competition, Hojlund said: "I think my plan is very clear and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot, whatever happens. I'm still very young. I think people forget that sometimes. I'm only 22.
"Obviously, not every striker is scoring 100 goals at the age of 22 (like Erling Haaland). But I've learned a lot, I think you can see in my game. I'm starting to develop and become even better in the basics.
"Now it's just about for me to sharpen myself and I've done very well in the pre-season so far. Just focusing on continuing that.
"Competition is fine with me. It sharpens me. I'm more than ready. I'm feeling sharp, so I'm welcoming everything that comes. I think it's good with competition and it only sharpens the team."
