Manchester United prepare to step up pursuit of Atalanta star | OneFootball

Following internal evaluations, Manchester United have concluded that Atalanta star Ederson would be an ideal midfield addition and are considering stepping up their interest in the midfielder.

The Brazilian has attracted the attention of several European giants in recent months, including Liverpool, as he established himself as one of the most complete midfielders on the international stage.

Manchester United ready to step up interest in Ederson

However, the Red Devils appear highly eager to bring him to Old Trafford, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, internal discussions among scouts and directors have singled him out as the ideal replacement for Casemiro.

With Champions League qualification at least for the knockout phase playoff looking almost sure and an ongoing 11-match winning streak propelling them to the top of Serie A, Atalanta are not open to letting Ederson go in January to keep their chances of winning silverware fully alive.
