Many will see Saturday’s game against West Ham as a six pointer. It is crucial for Manchester United’s season that they make it two wins on the bounce in the Premier League and finally move ahead of the Hammers in the table.

West Ham are currently in a position where Champions League football is a possibility, with former United manager David Moyes deserving a chunk of the credit for turning things around at the London club. And last season, with the help of Jesse Lingard, they secured a place in the Europa League.

For the Reds, nothing but three points will be acceptable with regard to United’s hopes of finishing in the top four.

Assuming that United can win tomorrow at Old Trafford, it would finally see us move up the table, albeit for a few hours. At least it would mean we won’t be ending the weekend in 7th place and I spoke about that on the recent episode of the Strettycast.

Ahead of David de Gea in goal, we’re expecting to see Wednesday night’s substitute, Harry Maguire, brought back into the fold alongside Raphael Varane at centre-back. Diogo Dalot will start at right-back and Alex Telles is also set to keep his place.

Scott McTominay, Fred and Bruno Fernandes all seem set to retain their places in the middle of the park for us.

Up top, Ralf Rangnick will call upon Cristiano Ronaldo after their minor disagreement on Wednesday night, with CR7 joined by Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford in attack.

SN’s XI: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; McTominay, Fred, Fernandes; Greenwood, Ronaldo, Rashford.
