Red Devils are still waiting for their first win of the new season
Emile Smith Rowe came off the bench to score as Fulham held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.
Buoyed by a wholly impressive performance against Arsenal last weekend, United started the better of the two teams, hitting the post early on through Matheus Cunha.
Ruben Amorim's side then had the opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot after Calvin Bassey dragged Mason Mount to the floor, but the typically assured Bruno Fernandes skied his effort into the Hammersmith End.
United would take the lead just before the hour mark after Leny Yoro's header deflected off Rodrigo Muniz and into the back of the net, but Fulham hit back through Smith Rowe's close-range finish 15 minutes later.
Fulham pushed for a winner, but United held firm to secure their first point of the new Premier League season.
Sam Tabuteau rated the Man United players at Craven Cottage...
Altay Bayindir 6
A mixed performance from Bayindir, trusted ahead of Andre Onana. He remains unconvincing from corners, but bounced back from his mistake against Arsenal with a couple of good saves. His distribution caused panic for the hosts, and he set up a glorious chance for Cunha with a wonderful pass through the heart of the Fulham backline.
Leny Yoro 8
A really mature performance from the young defender, whose positioning was spot on as Fulham struggled to find space in behind. Produced a superb last-ditch tackle on Josh King early in the second-half before minutes later giving United the lead as his header deflected off Rodrigo Muniz from a corner.

Matthijs de Ligt 8
Had the better of Rodrigo Muniz all afternoon, sticking tight to the Fulham forward and not letting him have a moment's rest. Defended stoically as United withstood a sustained period of Fulham pressure. Made the most blocks and clearances of any United player.
Luke Shaw 6
A committed performance from Shaw, who, if he can stay fit, still has a future at United. Replaced by Harry Maguire late on as United sought to stem the flow of Fulham pressure.
Amad Diallo 5
Got up well in support of Bryan Mbeumo, but the pair were unable to get on the same wavelength as each other, and Diallo was replaced soon after half-time for Diogo Dalot.
Casemiro 6
United controlled large parts of the first-half, with Casemiro providing a useful option in build-up as the visitors routinely broke through Fulham's midfield. Picked up a yellow card late in the first-half and was replaced soon after half-time.
Bruno Fernandes 5
Missed his spot-kick and then some, sending his effort way over the bar. Also stung the palms of Bernd Leno with a dipping effort from outside the box in a busy first 45 minutes. Didn't have the same influence after the break. Since his Premier League debut, no player has missed more penalties in the competition than Bruno Fernandes.
Patrick Dorgu 7
The young wing-back was full of running, putting into action the move that led to Cunha hitting the post. Held the width but also came into midfield to provide an option through the middle. An energetic display, which will have pleased Amorim no end.
Bryan Mbeumo 6
His relationship with Amad needs work. Mbeumo struggled to get into the game while the rest of United's attack played off each other excellently in the first-half. Assisted United's goal with a well-weighted corner, but was otherwise quiet.
Mason Mount 6
Mount has found fitness and found favour under Ruben Amorim, starting the last six league games under the Portuguese manager. He is still finding his rhythm after an injury hit few years, though, and misplaced a couple of simple passes in promising positions.
Matheus Cunha 8
Carried a real threat, following up on an encouraging debut performance last weekend. He shot narrowly over inside the opening minute before hitting the base of the post moments later. Battled well out of possession. A menace throughout.

Diogo Dalot 6
His defensive nous proved important as Fulham surged forward in search of a winner.
Benjamin Sesko 5
Fed off scraps as United were pinned back by Fulham in the final 15 minutes.
Manuel Ugarte 5
Couldn't get to grips with the tempo of the game as Fulham pressed forward.
Harry Maguire 6
Headed wide from an inviting corner that he'd ordinarily back himself to score from.
Ayden Heaven 6
Came on to sure up United's defence as they held on for a point.
