Manchester United have now been linked with over 100 players in the summer transfer window.

We all know that every year United get linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry in the football world. Even though results are disappointing on the pitch, United remains one of the biggest clubs in the world, and agents have abused that for years with their relations in the media.

They know that if a player gets linked with a move to Old Trafford that it will get worldwide press. A great way to boost a player’s profile and maybe even attract interest from elsewhere.

United fan account @Muppetiers have made a list of players who have been rumoured to join the club this summer.

The list now includes over 100 footballers, with the latest being Borussia Dortmund centre-back Dan-Axel Zagadou, who is available on a free next month.

Despite being linked with so many players, United are yet to make a single signing in Erik ten Hag’s first transfer window at the club.

Hopefully that changes soon.

Frenkie de Jong is the primary target and I would be shocked if we don’t complete a deal for the Netherlands midfielder before our first pre-season game against Liverpool.

Only time will tell.
