Manchester United Legends XI vs Liverpool: Carrick and Berbatov start | OneFootball

Andy Ritchie has selected his starting line-up for today’s Legends of the North clash between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Michael Carrick has been named captain and there’s a starting place for Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian scored our only goal in the previous leg, which ended 3-1 in Liverpool’s favour at Old Trafford.

However, today’s game takes place at Anfield and the Red Devils will be going out for revenge.

Carrick will be partnered by Darren Fletcher in midfield, and it will be the former Scotland international’s first appearance in a United Legends match. The notable name on the bench is Roy Keane, who is a late addition to Richie’s squad.
