The Premier League Hall of Fame started in 2021 to respect the best in the history of the league.

Considering the illustrious history of Manchester United, it was always inevitable that Sir Alex Ferguson’s side’s mavericks would dominate the discussion.

Since its inception, there hasn’t been a single year when a United player hasn’t been inducted.

That streak is going to be kept alive this year with the induction of Andy Cole.

The former United forward will join Chelsea pair Ashley Cole and John Terry in the Class of 2024 for the Hall of Fame.

With that, he becomes the tenth individual with United ties to be inducted, with eight ex-players joined by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Cole spent six years at United and won nine trophies, including the unforgettable treble in 1999.

When he joined United, he did so for a British record fee at the time and repaid it many times over with his free-flowing goals and partnership with Dwight Yorke.

That partnership is still considered one of the best ever to grace the league as the two had an almost telepathic connection.

He ended his United career with 121 goals in 275 appearances across all competitions, with his best scoring season being 19 league goals in 28 games in the 1999/2000 season.

He moved to Blackburn Rovers from Manchester United where he further solidified his Premier League legacy although his most prolific time was at Newcastle United.

He had scored 68 goals in 84 games for the Magpies which had prompted Sir Alex to break the British record for him in the first place.

Cole joins Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Rio Ferdinand, Sir Alex Ferguson, Peter Schmeichel, Eric Cantona, and David Beckham in the list of players with United ties in the Hall of Fame.
