Thomas Müller has seen a drastic reduction in his minutes this season and now the one-club man could be on his way out of Bayern as soon as January.
Despite a fantastic two-assist Champions League performance against Olympiacos mid-week, it’s believed the 30-year-old is still weighing up his options outside of Germany.
According to Bild, Manchester United, who attempted to sign Müller in 2015, are interested in signing the World Cup-winning forward in the upcoming transfer window.
Two weeks ago, when asked about his current situation, Müller hinted that he preferred to leave in search of first-team action.
“If the coaching staff see me as a sub in the future, I will have to think about my situation. I’m too ambitious to not do that.”
In 497 career club matches, all with Bayern, Müller has racked up an impressive 186 goals and 173 assists.
