This season keeps going from bad to worse for Manchester United.
After parting company with José Mourinho in December, the Old Trafford outfit went on a sensational 12-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.
But since caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer was given the job permanently at the end of March, results have dipped significantly and after they were dumped out of the Champions League in mid-week, United found themselves 4-0 down inside 65 minutes away at Everton on Sunday.
That means, with four games of the campaign remaining, they’ve now conceded 48 goals – more than they’ve ever conceded before in a single Premier League season.
That also makes it six defeats in their last eight matches in all competitions and with fierce rivals Manchester City visiting on Wednesday, that’s far from ideal.
And you thought the David Moyes season was bad.
