Though the 21-year-old hasn’t been able to cement his place as a starter, he is regularly used by Carlo Ancelotti. He has featured in 33 games so far, netting nine goals and assisting four. He is averaging 1.1 shots, 1 key pass and 1.6 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).

Diaz is a creative pick in the offensive line as he is good at dribbling, providing key passes and through balls. Though he mainly plays as an attacking midfielder, he is versatile enough to play on both the flanks.
