Sergio Romero has named the two clubs he would want to play for after leaving Manchester United but insisted he is happy at Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old has played just nine games in the EFL Cup, Champions League and FA Cup this season with David de Gea playing every Premier League game.
“The day in which I have to return to Argentina my priority will be Racing Club,” he told ESPN FC. “If the goalkeeping position is well occupied as it is now with Juan Musso, my other option surely would be Boca Juniors.”
“I’m more concerned with the work I do, being able to help my teammates. I try to do the best I can, whether that’s on the pitch or from the outside.
“I try to help, to work with my team-mates to be available. If I get to play and then keep a clean sheet that’s even better.
“It’s the energy, the fuel that keeps me working. It’s what I’m striving for and that keeps me going, week after week, day after day.”
