Manchester United have set their sights on two potential right-backs should Aaron Wan-Bissaka leave the club.

Erik ten Hag has relied solely on Diogo Dalot this season with Wan-Bissaka making just one four-minute cameo in total, leading supporters to believe the Englishman’s time at Old Trafford is nearing its end.

However, if the 25-year-old does agree to a deal elsewhere, United must sign reinforcements to bolster the position. When Dalot faced a one-match suspension in the Premier League before the international break, left-back Tyrell Malacia was deployed in his absence, despite having never played on the right flank before, and it was clear Malacia took the majority of the game to try and adjust to the new position.

According to Fabrizio Romano in his latest YouTube update, the club are internally discussing a new right-back. Denzel Dumfries and Jeremie Frimpong have been identified as potential suitors and the latter is reportedly “keen” on the move. Frimpong would cost around £25 million.

Both players are currently on international duty representing the Netherlands at the World Cup in Qatar.
