Manchester United have confirmed Luke Shaw has sustained a muscular injury which will sideline him for a “number of weeks”.
The 28-year-old picked up the injury in training this week and the club say it is still being assessed.

He will certainly miss United’s meeting with Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Saturday as well as next week’s away trip to Arsenal.
Manager Erik ten Hag will address the media later on Friday, when more information about Shaw’s injury is likely to be provided.
