Under sporting advisor Luis Campos, Paris Saint-Germain have built a strong connection with Portugal, bringing in quality talents like Vitinha, João Neves, Nuno Mendes and Gonçalo Ramos. Now, the Ligue 1 club seems poised to make another move.
PSG’s transfer strategy centers on signing promising young players before they hit their prime. So, who might be next?
According to a recent report from Foot Mercato, PSG, along with Manchester City and Manchester United, is interested in 17-year-old Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon. With new manager Rúben Amorim, who recently joined from Sporting, it’s no surprise to see United in the race.
Additionally, TEAMtalk reported last week that Arsenal has been in discussions with Quenda’s agents, noting that the Sporting winger is also on the radar of Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Manchester United have opened talks with Sporting over a move for Quenda as a response response to the Gunners looking to take the lead on this file.
Quenda has played 18 matches across all competitions for Sporting’s first team this season, contributing two goals and one assist. The teenager is under contract with the Portuguese club until 2027, so there’s no immediate need for them to sell.
