With the summer transfer window underway, Europe’s elite are hoping to spend big to add world-class talent to their respective teams. One of those are Manchester United and the world class player in conversation is Kai Havertz,
Kai Havertz has been reportedly been angling for a move to English Premier League side Chelsea for quite some time now. The desire to play for one of the world’s most elite clubs is fixed in the youngster’s mind.
So why not do yourself one better?
There is no bigger club in England and some would argue in world football than Manchester United. Reports from Manchester United Evening News suggest that Manchester United would likely turn their attention to the German hotshot if their move for Jadon Sancho does not go through.
This spectacular turn of events would come as a true shock to the Chelsea hierarchy who have been trying to negotiate a deal for the German for quite some time now. The London club have not been able to match Bayer Leverkusen’s valuation for Havertz – a similar case to United’s pursuit for Sancho.
United have been known to snatch points off their opponents on the pitch late on – but not so much off the pitch. But with the volatility of today’s market, you just cannot never say never…
