In a recent report, Canal 26 mentioned that Manchester United are planning to move in for Boca Juniors midfielder Milton Delgado. It has been stated that the Red Devils are eager to get a deal done for the Argentine talent in this summer transfer window.
Delgado came through the youth ranks of the Argentine club and has done well to break into their first team recently. The Argentine youngster has already made 30 appearances for Boca Juniors last season, securing one assist in all competitions.
The 20-year-old is currently among the best young midfielders in Argentine football. Hence, it is no surprise that Man United are hoping to acquire his services this summer.
His current contract at the Argentine club will expire at the end of 2028 which could make it difficult for Man United to sign him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

Delgado is a tough-tackling and can read the danger well to secure possession back for his side at the centre of the park. He usually clears the danger when required.
The Argentine sensation is a good passer of the ball and can create the odd chance for others around him in the final third. He is also quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area. Delgado mainly operates as a defensive midfielder but can also play as a box-to-box midfielder if asked to do so by his manager.
We can expect Delgado to enhance the quality of Man United head coach Ruben Amorim’s midfield department in the long run.
At 20, Delgado has the ceiling to be a future star in European football. He has what it takes to be a success story at the Mancunian club in the long run. However, he is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth in the Premier League. Still, the pros outweigh the cons of signing a player of his potential. Therefore, Amorim would be wise to go all out to bring Delgado to the Theatre of Dreams in this summer transfer period.
