According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Liverpool scouts were all in attendance during Nice’s 2-1 victory versus Rennes last weekend.

The scouts were reportedly monitoring Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, who is thought to have a €45m price-tag.

Todibo joined Nice from LaLiga giants Barcelona in 2021 for a fee believed to be in the region of €8.5m.

The 23-year-old has made 30 appearances for Les Aiglons this season and could join a ‘top club’ this summer.

The former Under-21 French international has four years remaining on his contract after extending his deal last November.

Nice look set to miss out on European football ahead of next season and that may sway Todibo’s decision for any forthcoming offer.

From the three teams named, Newcastle and Manchester United look the most likely to secure Champions League football with Liverpool currently sitting fifth in the Premier League, occupying a Europa League spot.
