Manchester City have announced three signings over the past week. Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis and Omar Marmoush have all joined Pep Guardiola’s squad this week. It now seems that Manchester City’s new signings will all be a part of City’s squad for tomorrow’s crucial Premier League fixture against Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola was asked during his pre-game press conference if all three of Manchester City’s new signings will be in his squad for tomorrow’s match. Due to City’s injury issues the trio will all feature in the Manchester City squad tomorrow.

Pep Guardiola also explained what all three players could add to his squad. He explained: “Vitor [Reis] is young, he has a huge personality, needs time. [Abdukodir] Khusanov has already settled for the fact that he played in the French league, handling tough, tough, quick, fast players. But of course, he doesn’t speak much English, not French. So communication will be one of the situations that we have to deal with. And Omar Marmoush, I think he will adapt quick.

It remains to be seen which, if any of Manchester City’s new signings will start tomorrow against Chelsea. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Omar Marmoush start. He looks to be ready to go based on his fitness levels and the form he’s shown with Eintracht Frankfurt recently. Of the two young centre-backs that City have signed, it does seem that Abdukodir Khusanov may be ready to start ahead of Vitor Reis.

It is good news for City to have all three signings ready to contribute straight away. The hope is that if any of the trio do start against Chelsea they can step in and contribute immediately for Pep Guardiola’s side.
