According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City’s Josh Wilson-Esbrand is set to join Reims on a season-long loan. A deal is in place for the young left-back to switch Manchester for Northern France this summer.

The 20-year-old is set to team up with fellow countryman Will Still, who is the infamous manager of Stade de Reims. Les Rouges et Blancs have a proven track record of bringing Premier League loanees to the Stade Auguste Delaune, with Folarin Balogun being a roaring success for the club last season. Inter are now interested in signing the Amercian striker following his stellar season in Ligue 1.

Wilson-Esbrand also spent last season away from the Etihad Stadium on loan. The England youth international made 14 appearances for Coventry City in the EFL Championship, as they narrowly missed out on promotion through the play-offs. The former West Ham youth product has made three senior appearances for City and will be hoping to gain further top-flight experience on loan at Reims.
