Manchester City's João Cancelo completes permanent move to Al-Hilal

Manchester City defender João Cancelo has completed his move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.

The Portugal international joins the Saudi Pro League side for a reported fee of €25m on a three-year contract worth €15m per year.

The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Barcelona and although there was hope from the Blaugrana that they could keep the left-back, financial restraints dictated against that.

Cancelo will now join the throng of players leaving for the Middle East, with Al-Hilal currently boasting Ruben Neves, Aleksandar Mitrović and Kalidou Koulibaly amongst their squad.

He officially departs Manchester City with 154 appearances to his name, three Premier League titles and one Champions League victory amongst other accolades.
