Premier League champions Manchester City are unlikely to hold a Premier League trophy parade the day after any potential success over Arsenal this weekend.

Pep Guardiola and his players have the opportunity to defeat Mikel Arteta and his Gunners squad to the Premier League crown for the second successive season with victory over West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

That follows a mammoth night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as a brace from Erling Haaland and sensational goalkeeping performances from Ederson and Stefan Ortega recorded a 0-2 win over the North London club.

However, despite the remarkable achievement of potentially winning four consecutive Premier League titles this weekend, Pep Guardiola and his players will place their city centre celebrations with supporters on hold.

That is according to a new report from The Athletic looking into all the final day plans from the Premier League, which claims that Manchester City will wait until after the FA Cup final against Manchester United on May 25 for any parade.

It is further claimed that Manchester City could also put on an extra celebration to mark the historic achievement of winning four consecutive Premier League titles – a feat never before achieved by an English club.

On the final day of the Premier League season, the top-flight have confirmed that chief executive Richard Masters will not be present at the Etihad Stadium, with the league official taking a seat at the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal against Everton.

It has also been confirmed that despite the chances of Arsenal claiming a league title being heavily stacked against them, two identical Premier League trophies will be present at each ground, as well as a collection of 40 winners medals.

Manchester City will have another chance for silverware following this weekend too, taking on Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium, with an opportunity to become the first side to retain a domestic double.
