He is not an important part of Pep Guardiola’s system currently and hence City don’t want to keep him at the club for a long time and raise profits from him.

City then signed him for £100 million in the summer transfer window of 2021 and everyone thought that he would take the world by storm at the Etihad. However, he has not been a consistent performer for the first team at Manchester City, despite showing his spark at certain moments of his tenure.

Grealish’s vision and precise passing make him a creative hub, setting up teammates with clever through balls. While not a prolific scorer, his work rate and tenacity off the ball bolster his team’s pressing game. His strength in retaining possession under pressure is elite, though his finishing can lack ruthlessness.

So, taking into account his qualities, a number of clubs are interested in his services. Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are the clubs who want to sign him. Grealish might look to get away from the Premier League and get his career back on track somewhere else. It will be a good decision from City as well, as they can get funds from the sale of a player whom they no longer want at the club.
