Manchester City entertain in-form Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.
Pep Guardiola’s side are in the midst of a competitive battle to secure Champions League qualification. A goalless snooze-fest with Manchester United last weekend leaves the Citizens sixth and outside the qualification places as things stand.
City host a Crystal Palace team in fine form. The Eagles have won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions. Oliver Glasner’s side have also progressed to the last four of the FA Cup.
The teams could yet meet again in the final of that competition, if both progress from their semi-final ties.
City looked toothless in the absence of Erling Haaland last weekend and the club’s leading scorer remains sidelined with an ankle issue.
The Norwegian joins Nathan Ake, Rodri, Manuel Akanji and John Stones on the sidelines. Guardiola is likely to freshen up an attack that struggled last time out with Savinho and Jeremy Doku in line to return.
Manchester City predicted XI: Ederson: Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly; Gonzalez, Gundogan, De Bruyne: Savinho, Marmoush, Doku.
