Manchester City will entertain Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium this Wednesday night as both sides look to get the better of each other in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants were held to a scoreless draw by Arsenal recently. In contrast, the Villans earned a solid 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
Pep Guardiola will opt for the 4-1-4-1 formation and is expected to ask his men to dominate the ball and create some inviting chances on the offensive end of the field.
Unai Emery will set his players up in a 4-4-2 formation and might instruct his players to defend their penalty box well and try to catch the home side off-guard on the counter.
Manchester City
Nathan Ake, Ederson and Kyle Walker will all miss this game due to injuries. Furthermore, John Stones is a major doubt for this game.

Emery will rely on Moussa Diaby’s pace to cause a lot of problems for the Man City defenders on the counter. The defensive performance of Diego Carlos and Pau Torres could go a long way in determining the fate of this game.
