Premier League champions Manchester City have completed a deal to sign Kalvin Phillips in a deal worth a reported £45m.
The midfielder has signed a six-year contract and will wear the number four shirt.
The 26-year-old becomes City’s third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Stefan Ortega.
A Leeds United academy graduate, the midfielder made 234 appearances for the club and was crucial to Marcelo Bielsa as Leeds earned promotion from the Championship in 2020.
Phillips’ fine form in the top flight saw him become an England regular and he started all seven games at Euro 2020, with only Jordan Pickford and John Stones playing more minutes.
