According to Foot Mercato, Manchester City and FC Barcelona have both submitted offers to sign Dani Olmo (26) from RB Leipzig. The Spaniard looks set to leave Eastern Germany after impressing for his country at EURO 2024 as they won the competition.
The entourage of Olmo, including his agents Andy Bara and Juanma Lopes, have arrived in Leipzig to discuss his future at the Bundesliga club. The talks are approaching key hours as the player’s agents hope to clarify the 26-year-old’s future ahead of a potential move this summer.
City have made an offer to acquire the former Zagreb attacking midfielder’s services but the Spanish international is giving his priority to the Catalonian club. Favouring a move to La Liga over a move to the Premier League champions, Barcelona are currently leading the race to sign Olmo. However, the Blaugrana must first sell players before they can sanction a move.
