Manchester City join list of clubs interested in Sandro Tonali

Manchester City are reportedly the latest club to join the long list of sides interested in signing Sandro Tonali.

The 18-year-old midfielder has become something of a sensation in Italy this season, starring for Brescia in Serie B and earning admiring glances from the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma.

However according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Pep Guardiola’s men are also keen on his services and have sent scouts to watch a couple of their games in the past month.

Tonali has started 11 games so far this term, scoring once and assisting a further four times.

It’s thought that Brescia would be open to selling their prize teenager, but would command a fee somewhere in the region of €35m.

His stock has risen even further this week after being named in the Italy squad to face Portugal and USA.
