Manchester City have sounded out Bayern Munich with a view to sign France international winger Kingsley Coman (27), according to a report this Friday from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins. However, the Bundesliga giants have firmly rejected the treble winners’ approach for their decorated winger. Last year, the former PSG and Juventus forward extended his contract with Thomas Tuchel’s side until 2027.

Manchester City are in the market for a winger following the sale of Algerian international Riyad Mahrez (32) to PIF-funded Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli. RMC Sport understands that Manchester City are hopeful of wrapping up a deal for Stade Rennais winger Jérémy Doku (21). The Belgian international is expected to move on and leave the Roazhon Park. Hawkins adds that Doku would become Rennes’ record sale, beating the likes of Nayef Aguerd and Ousmane Dembélé who both moved on in exchange for €35m transfer fees.

Hawkins believes that Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise is also being considered by Pep Guardiola’s side. However, the RMC Sport journalist adds that the French U21 international has an agreement with Chelsea.
