Manchester City confirm that they’ve reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund to sign Erling Haaland in the summer, subject to the Premier League club agreeing personal terms.
It’s been reported that Haaland will sign a five-year contract with Manchester City after they triggered the Norwegian’s €75m release clause. However, it’s suggested that Pep Guardiola’s side paid a fee closer to €60m for the 21-year-old, who passed a medical in Brussels on Monday.
The Leeds-born striker has scored an astounding 85 goals in 88 matches and provided 23 assists for BVB since joining in 2020 and according to several reports, Haaland and Borussia Dortmund also had offers from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
