It’s exactly nine years ago today since Manchester City completed the £38m signing of Sergio Agüero from Atlético Madrid.
And it’s fair to say the Argentine has been good value for money.
Agüero netted 30 goals in his debut campaign for City, including that iconic title-winning strike with the last kick of the season against QPR.
In 2017 he became the club’s all-time leading goalscorer when he netted away at Napoli in the Champions League.
His goal tally currently stands at 254 for City and earlier this season, he netted a record-breaking 12th Premier League hat-trick.
He is both a great goalscorer and a scorer of great goals.
What a footballer.
