Anthony Gordon joined Newcastle United in the winter of 2023 after spending all his life at Everton. The signing has turned out to be fruitful for both parties involved. While the player has unleashed a new version of himself, the team has benefitted from his displays over the field.

Gordan has been in excellent form at the ongoing campaign and has emerged as a talent to watch out for. He has netted 12 goals and provided 11 assists in 48 games this season. He is averaging 2 shots, 1.4 key passes, and 1.3 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The English player is a versatile attacker who can play in multiple spots. He is a decisive player in the final third as he can create threats with his passings and clinical finishing skills. However, the youngster still has a lot of room to improve.
Manchester City are in search of adding new attackers amid the exit possibilities of multiple stars. While Kevin de Bruyne has been linked to a Sauda move for months, reports emerged recently that Jack Grealish is also keen on leaving the club at the end of the season.
If that happens, the Citizens will have to go for quality players and Anthony Gordon definitely falls into the group. The 23-year-old’s addition will add value and flexibility to the star-studded squad. He can also be a long-term investment.
From Gordan’s point of view, he will be able to fight for the prestigious trophies while also learning under Pep Guardiola. However, the transfer will depend upon the two Premier League clubs. Apart from City, Liverpool are also keen on signing the player.
