Barcelona were originally thought to be frontrunners for Traoré, although their interest has waned with other positions being prioritised.

City are in the market for a winger following the departure of Leroy Sané to Bayern Munich, with Leon Bailey and Dwight McNeil also being considered.

Juventus, meanwhile, want to freshen up their attacking options with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuaín and Juan Cuadrado all entering their latter years.

Traoré has three years left on his current deal and Wolves are likely to demand in excess of €50m.
