Manchester United were left kicking themselves in the Premier League against Everton.
The Red Devils really needed to get their form back on track after a difficult few weeks that have seen defeats to Young Boys, West Ham United and Aston Villa across three different competitions.
However, instead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was met with a full-time whistle that shovelled more and more pressure on his shoulders with United having earned just one point from their last two games.
And one can't help feeling that the Everton game was three points flushed down the toilet with United throwing away a 1-0 lead that they had gathered through Anthony Martial's strike.
As the game went on, Solskjaer's left-field team selections - which included Cristiano Ronaldo starting on the bench - simply didn't pay off with Everton snatching a second-half equaliser.
The Toffees exploited a terrible corner from Bruno Fernandes by racing from one end of the pitch to the other with Andros Townsend eventually firing home past David de Gea.
And if anything, Rafael Benitez's outfit looked like the most likely side to snatch the three points and they might well have secured exactly that if VAR hadn't denied a late winner from Yerry Mina.

Then again, that wasn't the only moment in the closing minutes where Mina was brought crashing back down to earth because the Colombian was also involved in a strange clash with Paul Pogba.
That's because footage of both a bizarre and amusing nature has emerged on Twitter that shows Pogba conceding a foul for what essentially looked like a WWE move on the Everton man.
Vince McMahon will definitely be phoning up Pogba tonight.
Now, yes, it certainly looks like Mina contributed to the amusing incident by jostling with the United midfielder in return, but one can't help feeling that it was Pogba who truly had the last laugh.
It's so often a lazy comment to point out Pogba's physicality when intelligence and footballing IQ inform his game to a far greater degree, but there's no denying that he is incredibly strong too.
However, while that might have been enough to plant Mina flat on his backside, it wasn't sufficient to rescue three points that United may come to rue having ever surrendered come May 2022.
