Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of Manchester United’s group for last Sunday’s derby against Manchester City has added to speculation about Rashford’s future at the club.

TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook reports that Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad are keeping an eye on Rashford’s situation following his omission.

Meanwhile, TBR Football notes that while Saudi clubs remain interested in signing Rashford, the forward has made it clear he has no interest in a move to the Middle East.

The Telegraph’s James Ducker reported this week that if Rashford leaves Manchester United, his preference would be to move to Spain. Still, it’s hard to envision any LaLiga club affording his wages unless he desires to take a pay cut.

With Amorim openly expressing his desire for Rashford to stay and rethink his plans to leave, former United striker Teddy Sheringham has urged Ratcliffe to make it even harder for him to go by putting a hefty £100 million price tag on him.

“Oh, you’ve got to be talking £100m,” Sheringham told Express Sport. “I’m very surprised that there’s talk about him leaving United. I think Man Utd need to keep their best players and get them working to the best of their capabilities. So I’d be very surprised if Marcus leaves.”

Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail suggests that United might entertain offers of around £40 million for the forward, far below what Sheringham wants the Premier League to demand.

As for Paris Saint-Germain, Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic reports that the French giants have no interest in Marcus Rashford. In addition, Melissa Reddy of Sky Sports adds that no clubs are currently targeting him, pointing to concerns about his form, off-pitch behavior, and high salary.
