A late goal from Manchester United winger Daniel James has handed Wales a huge win over Czech Republic in a fiery World Cup qualifier.

Czech striker Patrik Schick was shown a straight red card early in the second half for raising his hand to the face of Connor Roberts.

Swansea defender Roberts was then shown his second yellow card thirteen minutes from time.

Both sides searched desperately for a winner and it was Wales who came out on top.

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale delivered a teasing ball in the box, which James met with a brilliant header to secure Wales' first win of the campaign.

They are now one point behind second-placed Czech Republic with a game in hand.
