Manchester United have rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Marcus Rashford.
That’s according to The Times, who report on Wednesday that Spurs have been told Rashford wants to stay at United and try to get his career back on track under new manager Erik ten Hag.
The north London club are reportedly hoping to sign a versatile forward player this summer and hoped they could help Rashford rediscover his best form after a disappointing 2021/22 campaign for him personally.
The 24-year-old managed just five goals and two assists in all competitions last term, having scored 56 goals and set up another 37 in the three seasons prior.
With just one year remaining on his contract, Spurs appear to have identified the England international as a perfect candidate who would also help fill their homegrown player quota, but for now it seems Rashford wants one last chance to prove himself at his boyhood club.
