Man Utd run riot at Brighton

Scorers: Turner 8′, Parris 17′, García 45′, Naalsund 59′

Manchester United reached back-to-back Women’s FA Cup semi-finals after dismantling Brighton.

The visitors took an early lead at the Broadfield Stadium through Millie Turner meeting Katie Zelem’s recycled corner at the far post.

Nikita Parris doubled the Red Devils’ advantage barely 10 minutes later by combining with Turner before firing a tidy finish past Sophie Baggaley.

Things went from bad to worse for the Seagulls as Lucía García added a third before half-time after Melvine Malard’s shot came back off the woodwork.

Lisa Naalsund compounded the misery in the second half with a stunning effort from the edge of the penalty area to see Marc Skinner’s side coast into the last four.

Leicester stun Liverpool to reach last four

Scorers: Rantala 15′, 63′

Leicester City reached the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in their history after stunning Liverpool.

Jutta Rantala broke the deadlock at Prenton Park by driving home the rebound after Janice Cayman’s effort came back off the post.

The hosts’ best opening of the first half saw Marie Höbinger strike the woodwork from a botched clearance by Lize Kop.

But Rantala extended the Foxes’ advantage midway through the second half with a powerful strike which hit the crossbar on its way in.

Sunday sees four more WSL sides go head-to-head as Everton host reigning holders Chelsea while Manchester City take on Tottenham.
