Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford equalled a 56-year-old record set by Sir Bobby Charlton at the club.

Rashford netted the first in a 2-0 win over Granada in the Europa League quarter final first leg on Thursday.

The strike against Granada means he has eight goals in European competitions this season, which equals the record set by Sir Bobby in 1964-1965.

Rashford has six Champions League goals this term, and now two in the Europa League.

His tally is boosted by the hat trick he netted against RB Leipzig in the Champions League group stages at Old Trafford earlier in the season.

The 23-year-old will have a great chance of breaking Charlton's record if United reach the semi-final stage.
