Manchester United are blocking photographers from two prominent agencies due to pictures of the anti-Glazer demonstrations on the pitch at Old Trafford.

Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Action Images are understood to have had passes withheld for the club's final home game of the season against Fulham on Tuesday, reports the Telegraph.

United are said to be unhappy because the photographers in question did not have the correct accreditation when they followed angry fans inside the stadium, and worked for news rather than sport.

United's decision reportedly sparked fury among the photographers' colleagues, who insist there was a public interest in documenting the striking scenes, when fans broke in and protested on the field against the Glazers, the unpopular American owners.
