Manchester United have begun scouting new goalkeepers, a report has revealed, with both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir fighting for their futures.
Onana has been United's starter ever since his £47.2m move from Ajax in the summer of 2023. His tenure has featured several outstanding performances but also a large number of individual errors, particularly since new head coach Ruben Amorim arrived.
The Cameroon international's deputy, Bayindir, has failed to impress in his place. Opportunities have been limited but an error-laden performance in the Carabao Cup defeat to Tottenham Hotspur has not helped his case.
The Telegraph state United officials have begun assessing their options in goal, with 22-year-old Royal Antwerp stopper Senne Lammens playing his way on to the radar.
Lammens is highly rated across Europe, with Borussia Dortmund said to be keen on his signature as well.
United are not believed to be desperate to sign a new goalkeeper immediately - left-back remains a top priority, with Paris Saint-Germain's Nuno Mendes a target - but things could change if Bayindir chooses to leave for first-team football.
Even if Bayindir does leave, United may not rush a new goalkeeper signing, with 38-year-old Tom Heaton also on the books at Old Trafford.
